Oh my! If you pay it then wonder how hard it will be to pay you back once they get it corrected. I hate getting the mail there is always something like that coming up. Our state tax check got taken by surprise this week due to hubby's back child support. He had no idea. He got with child support and figured it up fromt he time he was court ordered to pay back in 1993. He missed payments way befor e I came along and here the IRS is taking all of it even though my name is on it too and I am not responsible for her. It has to be paid I guess. Her mother never knew he was behind. She will get a nice little unexpected check then...grrrrrr. It sucks to have to deal with stuff like that.
