Anyone know of any tips, remedies, or products to remove household odors?

I live in an older building that was converted into apartments, have pets, cook a lot, the people upstairs cook with garlic on a DAILY basis, etc. so sometimes my apartment smells WEIRD. The smells typically aren't bad- just annoying/odd.

ETA: I prefer natural products (Method is one of my favorites- although I haven't used many of their products).

Also, has anyone bought any candles from this retailer?
