These neighbors have made so many comments to us when their beagle was returned "oh, I can't believe someone caleld us to pick her up" or "too bad a coyote didn't get her". The beagle runs to our yard where we are always outside with our children playing and Kiki because she knows we will give her attention. It really breaks my heart and this is coming from me, someone who never loved animals. | It is sad to see him treated this way and her cats too, let alone the kittens. We (Me & My 2 youngest girls) was just watching Animal Cops, they took out 247 cats/kittens out of this home there on the show, it was filthy from those cats, my 9 yr old made the comment that our neighbor wasn't going to do that with her cat this year, I ask do what she said let her have babies and put them in the shed, I said no I'll call the cops. (I did call the HS last year on her and they wouldn't even come out to see it and she had the GUTS to call them the year before and have them get stray cats from her yard, even allowed them to set up the traps for them, then does this to her own cats/kittens).
Right before the show went off, my oldest went to sleep in her bed, youngest fell asleep on the couch, I heard yelping over top of the TV and with all windows closed and door shut, I opened up the front door and bless his heart it was him gated in the kitchen and yelping I know to go out to potty, she is gone of course with her windows open and it was close to 11 pm here and getting chilly. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with crating (Even tho she thinks it's a sin for me to crate mine when need be!) or blocking off doors
but to leave them in there that long and not allow him to go potty. I mean I can see him sleeping all night as mine do and usually can now hold it all night. I don't know maybe it's just me. She also ask how often I bath mine I said once a week. She said oh, I wonder when he gets bathed.
I can't beleive they said that about their dog... "too bad a coyote didn't get her" why in the world would one even think that. My Dad raises beagles and loves them to death, mom says he loves them more then her lol. He does train them to hunt rabbits, but they NEVER chase a deer. He won't allow them to. Of course he don't keep them as clean as I do mine, but they are outside dogs, not inside dogs, now when he has a litter he does bring them in the garage and puts heat lamps on the babies and if one won't nurse he takes it in the house and nurses it. He lets my girls name the puppies and claim those he keeps. He does take care of them but he his self has down sized in how many he has due to getting older and he can't keep up with them. I just don't understand why people get a dog or cat then trade it in. Makes no sense to me. I wouldn't give my Yorkies up for nothing. I mean I've had to downsize too but it broke my heart to adopt them out and when our puppies are adopted out I bawl like a baby and worry so much about them. |
