My vet suggests giving 1/2 tablet of Pet-Cal daily during the last half of her pregnancy. I crush it and mix it with a tablespoon of cottage cheese. Everyone seems to like it, and it helps to make sure mom's calcium levels are maximized during the pregnancy.
