Wow! This is all I have to say:
1. Following his theory, the only dogs that deserve to be born are those that come from homes where trophies and ribbons deck the walls. Your only other choice would be those dogs that are in the local pound. Considering the small size of the litters in Yorkies, how many would that amount to in the general population (after we allow for the loss of some, and that some will be kept by the breeder to show)? We'd be lucky to see one, let alone own one.
2. If he thinks that the people who want to own a little Yorkie, but can't because they aren't available, will then go to the pound and adopt a pit bull mix -- he just doesn't understand dog owners.
