I feel yr pain
Bella is currently on Temaril P (low dosage). I was unsure whether to put her on this or not. She's had several visits to Vet to try and find out what's going on with her itching. One said she thought Bella was too young @the time for it to be food allergies. I thought her hair had thinned on back legs, but another Vet thought her skin looked good and that it was just going from puppy to adulthood. I will tell you that Temaril P does help. I just hate to have to continue it. She's gotten so smart about "pill"s. She hates them. I've tried everything! It usually takes several attempts! The Vet also thinks Bella is going through false pregnancy.
Last visit, we discussed waiting until her spay for anything further. Ironically, her itching started @ the same time of her first heat cycle. He thinks it could be linked? I wish you the best & I wish I had answers. It is very frustrating. Bella hardly goes outside too. A couple of times when she has, I've seen a few fleas. I think she is also very allergic to flea bites. Of course, I keep a close eye out & she never has any on her after I've taken care of it a few times that it happened. I've changed her food. I also give her vitamin supplement. Please keep us updated on your little one & maybe someone out there has the miracle cure, I wish!!
