I like the general way they look, however i do not like the way they smell. LOL dreads just also look dirty up close. They cannot be washed like regular hair and some "hippies" use oil instead. i went to school in the pine barrens of south jersey with a lot of hippies. They all had dreads or weird dirty hair styles and they didn't shower properly. oh god, my freshman year roommate turned into one and the girl showered like once a week. i thought i was going to die from the smell of her hair (among other things.........)
LOL so back to the question i personally prefer the non-dread look.
