I've never lost one so young, but losing a Yorkie at any age is tragic. I had to put our first Yorkie down at 11.5 (cancer). When I came home from work the very next day, the emptiness of the house and the lack of a l'il greeter was devastating. My mother couldn't take it and we were at a breeder's by the following weekend.
That led to the discovery of the love of my life, Ozzie ... can't begin to imagine what my life would be like without him.
