I am sorry to hear your little girl is still having these problems. I read the other thread you provided and it was very informative. Like it said, there could be a number of things causing this problem. It could be cystitis, prolonged proestrus, vaginitis or a number of other problems. Several of these conditions require antibiotic treatment. If I were you I would print out the other thread and take a copy with you when you go see a vet. The post also mentioned testing for hypothyroidism. Your only other choice would be to just wait it out. If her problem is just prolonged proestrus then she could just have a normal heat later. I know it is frustrating. I have never had a female have a heat cycle like that. My females all come in every 6 to 9 months. I hope everything works out but honestly it sounds like it might require a lot of testing to know what is really going on. |
