I am so sorry for your loss

Everyone handles grief differently. Some need another pet as soon as possible. Some need to wait a while. Some will never get another. Everyone handles it differently. If you feel the need to get one right away, you should do that. You would definitely not be replacing her but would be giving yourself another baby to love. If something every happened to Lacy I know I would feel the need to have another soon afterwards...I have just gotten so used to haveing a dog and love her so much that I would just need to keep that in my life.
