TMZ trashing David brought on this speech. David is a GOOD kid. He seems kind, considerate, humble, down-to-earth, appreciative, etc. And then you see people bashing him. If they didn't like his singing, that's one thing, and they have a right to comment on that. But that's not what they're even talking about. Why would they take this kid who is on a GOOD road headed for AMAZING places and make fun of him and try to offend him? Its so stupid. All it does is ruin lives. Clearly, this one incident isn't going to ruin David's future/career. But I think its REALLY REALLY pathetic and sad that they feel the need to do that whenever someone with a possible future comes along.
I'm new when it comes to performing, but I can say that everytime you work on something, you're supposed to be discovering it all over again. There's plenty of songs that I've heard and sung a bazillion times in the past, and now that I have a teacher to really work on them with, its like completley new material. I don't really know what I'm talking about when it comes to performing, but I have an idea of what goes into it, and the people who run those trash sites have no right to judge on things like that.

I was the messenger (even tho I did 'fess up to the giggle at the Napolean bit). TMZ is simply one of those entertainment shows that has staff that do nothing but dig. They never said anything really "negative" towards him. So really, it was just extra press for him. I've also seen bits on other shows about how his dad is a horrible stage dad and has pushed him, blah, blah, blah. If he didn't have America's attention, he wouldn't get that press.
He's a GREAT kid with TREMENDOUS talent and a sweetness about him. He's gonna have that attention, and as he gets more famous, he'll have to get used to it - even though it's not right.
I want to know if Ryan really is a jerk or if they make him be a jerk.
