Well I'll pray for her! I don't really know how to help, but I would suggest running to a bookstore and picking up a book on dog healthcare. Every dog owner should have one (I just ordered one last week offline). It should have some useful information on how these infections happen, what to do when they happen, how to prevent them, etc. Hope she gets well soon!
