Default Question About Teeth

Today I noticed on my 19month male that one of his upper K9's is partly grey. All of his other teeth are pearly white and have almost no tartar buildup whatsoever (thanks to the Pfizer dental vaccination). The tooth in question is hard, not loose, no visible chips or cracks, the enamel is still very shiny and it appears to not be causing him any pain.

There is a canine "dentist" in the east bay and I made an apt but I cant get in for another 2 weeks--the wait is killing me.

I cant figure out for the life of me what happened. I don't allow him to chew on anything hard that could potentially hurt his teeth. The only thing I can think of is that he LOVES to play tug of war with his toys. My husband and I try not to allow it but I am always catch him hanging from a toy in my Dobermans mouth(who he uses as his toy holder for his tug of war games) . Could tug of war have caused this?

Has anyone had a similar experience? Is this something I should be as concerned as I am about?

Thanks in advance for your help!
