It cost me $37 per dog and if I want to change the registration (currently it's registered under my vet's clinic) - it's $15 per pet or if multiple pets, it's $40 up to 8 pets. Not bad for protecting my babies :-)
When we first moved into our home, we were at work and our backyard gate blew open because of high winds. Our Akita/Shepard who was outside at the time (he's indoors all the time now) ran away. That evening we got a call from the shelter letting us know they had him (by reading the microchip). Thank goodness he was microchipped.
