| Patti, thank you so much for the update on Papi. I truly believe that a Hand greater than ours, led that little girl to him, just when she was most needed. When you are that ill, your body that tired, you need a purpose, a reason to drag those aching bones out of bed in the morning. Patticake gives him that reason, she needs Papi to take care of her, take her for walks to that wonderful field near his home, and most of all, without her even knowing it, she is taking care of her Papi too. I think if the YorkieTrain that delivered her, had left the station only weeks later, she would not have reached Papi in time, or he would have been to ill, too overcome at the thought of a new puppy. This all happened when it did, with such perfect timing for both of them.
Patti, although I was happy to read about Papi, I am at the same time sad at the thought of you not being around. You are truly the most inspirational person on these boards. I sometimes feel that you are like our guiding light, reminding us of love, goodness, and the reason we all come here together. I am so sorry that it is taking so long for you to heal after that car accident, but please, although it's hard for right now, give it time, the pain of your injuries to your neck will eventually fade, and then you can return here, where we will all be waiting for you.
With so much love,
Lauren
