When I travel to my friends or family for an overnight stay I bring a playpen with me. I bought it used and it is for a baby but it colapses and has a handle to carry it. It has mesh sides so Pixie could look out and see you but I put my pups bed in there and a weewee pad and her food and water and when I can't have my eye on her I put her into her playpen. The playpen also has wheels so it can be rolled into another room if you need to. Brand new they are over $100 but I got mine used for $35 in very good condition. Hope this helps!
