Well your lucky there! My Lucy had grade 4 LP and besides deepening the groove in her knee, they had to move muscles and tendons by cutting off chunks of bone and pinning them on in different places. I think I have read that some dogs have to have the bone broken and put back together because it is so crooked. Lucy's wasn't that crooked.
Lucy was born with grade 4. She didn't walk very well when I got her at 8 weeks.
