When dogs are rescued they all come in with medical issues. Everything from spaying, neutering to dental problems and shots. The list can go on and on. A rescues vet bills are never paid in full for obvious reasons so that's the need to charge an adoption fee. It varies I suppose given the medical needs of an individual.
