Sounds like he might be a big boy. While both my yorkies growth slowed down after 6 months, they still grew a bit by a year. For some reason, it seems that males don't always seem to get bigger than females in the yorkie breed. I see an awful lot of small males on here.
I had a chihuahua that was a big girl. I thought chihuahuas were always small! Now before I buy I really look at the parents and what the breeder has experienced in past litters. And even that doesn't always work.
He sounds like a sweetheart though. |
