wow, 8lbs at 5 months? that's already 1lb heavier than the AKC standard of 4-7lbs for yorkies (
http://www.akc.org/breeds/yorkshire_terrier/index.cfm). my yorkie will be 5 months old on April 26, and he's less than 3lbs. i don't know how much more your pup will grow, but i've read on YT that yorkies grow the most between the ages of 4-6 months. and that they
can keep growing until they're a year old, but not always. i've also read that some yorkies can grow up to 12lbs... but there's no guarantee that yours will grow to be that big.
