Spike is just about 18 months now, and I'm noticing a slight change in him, especially when I'm home all day. Tomorrow, for example, he's going to the groomers in the morning, then I'll pick him up and take him for a walk. That means he'll be on the go from 8 a.m. until about 3 p.m., so I KNOW he'll be tired in the evening. This didn't happen when he was a pup, and I've only begun to notice the difference. Although it means he's getting older, I'm grateful for the change, because when he was a pup he was such a ball of energy, and such an attention seeker!

On days when I'm at work, he doesn't usually slow down much in the evening, although it does help if I take him for a run in the park as soon as I get home!
