You should be fine... my friend had her female fixed when she was just 2 and a half pounds and she did good , excellent acctually, she had a little humbical hernia and they fixed both things together... she bounced right back.... have no lue if they used gas or what but you can ask... i hope someone else knows more about this to help you out... i am sure there is a different anesthettic to small dogs, i remember my vet said something to me about that when i got mine fixed.
