There was no shade... I don't know how long he was out there.. It could have been only a couple of minutes but i still was so upset.. As for bigger dogs, yeah, I used to tie my grandparent lab mix up (with some water) but she was a lot bigger and it was only so i was able to get a coffee or something.. Its different when its a yorkie, maltese, poodle, shtizu, beagle, etc
