We took her to the emergency vet, she got an x-ray and they said that things seem to be fine. They said they can't see anything broken so they think she knocked it really hard or just slightly bruised it. She walked around a bit there but didn't really put too much pressure on her foot, so I'm guessing thats a good sign. They gave us the name and number to one of their vets and told us to give them a call tomorrow and see about getting her in there for a visit. So I'm thinking while were there I can get hers (Legacy) and her sister (Impreza)'s shots done since we needed to have that done this month anyways.

Thank you everyone who responded. I showed this thread to my fiancé who then decided that yes we should take her to the vet. His grandmother kept telling us no, but then again when both her dogs were sick she didn't even want them to go to the vet.

I am new at this. This is mine and his very first time actually owning our own pets without the help of our parents, so were just a little nervous and werid about everything.
