I walk two (not Yorkies) using a coupler that is made...kind of like with bungee cord material?....it works great with two that are similar weight, as it gives a little. The advantage of this material is that when they pull, they basically pull each other....so if one has a tendency to sit down when they're not supposed to, the other will pull them along (gently). I love it, because one of mine likes to stop and watch EVERYTHING. The other keeps him moving.
