Default Update

Thanks to all who understand why I waited,
No I do not show my dogs. But I know I love mine every bit as much as ones who do show. (Did not say more...but as much)
People who know me here I think have a good idea of how I am by now.
I did call the vet right away.
The puppy was not in any pain .
I moved her leg all over
Side to side...up and down, she was in no pain and from the first minutes she was born was using it well to crawl to Allie to nurse. I told them this.
If there had been any pain what so ever..I wouldnt have waited.
This would have upset me so much I would have insisted she was seen right away.
I am GLAD I didn't push it. These were tiny 3.5 oz or so puppies.
This puppy did not need any more trauma after just being born and taken from Allie.
I am now more then happy with the results.
My vet just said this is a very common thing that happens with a lot of babies.
He said that the puppy could have been a bit crowded and that this happens to all types of dogs.kittens...etc.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with this puppy's leg.
Its almost perfect now~! It crawls right across the bed to Allie as fast as the others.
And other then a wee bit of the paw her foot is almost perfect!
You have to REALLY look to even see this.
The vet said not to even tape it anymore...let her use it...and in another day or two.
You'll never know it happened.
I'm so sorry this happened to this thread.
I am starting to wonder why this happens...
Sad...
