Tooth brushing method per Vet

I am determined to keep Chelsea's teeth healthy. After my horrible experience and not to mention costly, with my last pets, I have learned my lesson to do everything possible to be successful.

My vet recommended C.E.T. enzymatic toothpaste for cats and dogs, one rubber finger brush, with small rubber bristles, and a double ended soft toothbrush, one large end, and one small end.

First week...place a small amount of toothpaste, on your finger, and let your dog lick it off, do this for a whole week, once a day.

Second week....place the rubber finger brush on your finger, and place small amount of toothpaste on it, let your dog lick it off, as you move your finger across the teeth.

Third week...place a small amount of the toothpaste on the BACK of the toothbrush, and let your dog lick it off, for a week, once a day.

Fourth week...place a small amount of the toothpaste on the bristles of the brush, and let your pet lick it off, one week, once a day.

Fifth week, you should be able to brush you pets teeth, concentrate on the back molars, where plaque is more possible to stick to the teeth.

I tend to place the toothbrush on the side, inside the cheeks, and she goes into a biting chewing mode, so far we have earned the grade of A+, on oral hygiene from our vet!!!

Good luck!
