Well, Maggy May is going to the vet tomorrow, she's supposed to be getting her rabies shot finally, BUT, I'm not so sure she'll be able to get it after all. The spot on her head where she had the demodex mites had cleared up and the hair is finally growing back in, but now she's lookin a bit thin and balding right smack dab in the middle of her forehead and sorta around her one eye
I had been keeping an eye on this to make sure it wasn't getting worse and was so hoping that it wasn't demodex mites, but, sadly, I really think it is. I called my vet the other day and told them what I was thinking and did I need to start her back on the Goodwinol and cancle her appointment to get her rabies shot cause if she has the demodex mites again, she won't be able to get the shot, he said no, don't cancel, he wants to do another skin scraping to make sure before I start treatment again, if it is the mites, then she won't get the rabies shot, we'll have to treat the mites first. She's 5 months and 1 day old now and for once I'd just like for her to be healthy and not have any problems. Please say a lil prayer for Maggy May that she gets over all these hurdles and will be healthy very soon. She's such a good lil girl ans just as sweet as can be, I love her with all my heart and it breaks my heart that she has to keep fighting to overcome so many things. I'll update tomorrow and let you know how her visit went.
