I think 4 lbs. is a lot! And so does Ruby.
This line of dogs tends to have large puppies, and they settle out in weight pretty early too, usually by around 6-7 months. Looking at our standards vs. our little yorkies, I think the standards have a heavier bone structure too.
But there is no way around it -- Ruby is HUGE.
