Need Possible Home For Older Yorkie I Haven't Posted Here In A While, But I Might Be In Desperate Need Of Some Help. I Work In A Veterinarian's Office And A Lady That Comes In Called And Wanted To Bring Her Mother-in-law's 11 Year Old Yorkie Who Is Healthy To Be Euthanized. The Mother In Law Was Put In A Nursing Home And The Dog Doesn't Like Children And Pees On Their Floor If Not Let Out Every 2 Hours And She Said They Really Can't Deal With It Anymore. Her Name Is Joy And She Is Healthy. She Was In The Office A Couple Of Months Ago For Vaccines. Joy Is About 10 Pounds According To Our Records. I Have 5 Dogs And Hubby Won't Let Me Have Anymore. I Called Her Back With A Couple Of Rescue Numbers And I Don't Know If She Had Any Luck. They Dropped Off Another Dog This Morning For A Neuter And I Will Ask Her This Afternoon When They Pick It Up. They Either Wanted To Do It When They Dropped Their Dog Off For Surgery (i Didn't Have Appointment For The Euthanasia) Or When They Picked It Up, But She Didn't Make An Appointment For The Euthanasia. I Go In At 1. She Even Talked About The Dog Pound. That Maybe It Would Find A Home Before They Euthanized. She Really Doesn't Want To Euthanize And Has Asked All Her Friends To Take The Dog Without Any Luck. I Called Over To Work Just To Make Sure They Didn't Bring It This Morning With The Other Dog And They Didn't. I Know She Is Older, But She Deserves To Live Out The Remainder Of Her Years Happy. She Is Spayed. They Think She Was Used For Breeding When She Was Younger Before They Got Her, So She Didn't Start Out In A Good Situation Either. I Just Want To Help Her. |
