I've had 2 Cushing's Yorkies, Molly and her daughter, Mindy. Molly was diagnosed when she was 12 and passed away at 15 1/2 by passing a blood clot. I did not treat her with meds, sometimes the meds are worse than the cushings symptoms. She went deaf and blind but still loved her food and came running to her bowl. Her daughter was diagnosed at about 7 years old and she will turn 12 next Monday. She is not going to live as long as her mother. She is also not on meds. Her muscle mass is starting to waste away and her belly is getting the pot belly look, just like her mother. She is also deaf and she gets horrible yeasty ears, which I am constantly fighting. Some cushings dogs are so voracious that they start eating the drywall & baseboards of your house. Mine were always hungry and they would try stealing food or eating poop or eating grass and flowers but they never were destructive. Good luck and I hope that for your sake and your babes, that it is something else and not Cushings. Take care.
