Thanks so much for your replies Gracie I totally agree with you. I'm a beginner so I figured the cheapo was the way to go..WRONG-O! lol! I mean, I'm glad I realized but after seeing the terrible quality, it wouldn't have benefited me at all anyway...like what if I really enjoy sewing? Then i'd be investing in all these "step higher" machines when I could have just gotten one really good one to begin with. I'm going to return this thing tomorrow first thing, and then do a little more research and settle on a good one
