Boy can I relate! Teddy did this and it infuriated me to no end! Oh my goodness. I bought Bitter Apple and sprayed it on the wall at least 2x a day. After about a few weeks he stopped going over there to gnaw at it. That would make me so mad! But try some kind of deterrent on the wall, they smell it, and then they won't go near it. At least I know Teddy didn't. Good luck!
