An ultrasound would be more.
There is no way a vet could know it is pancreatitis without testing, especially if the dog hadn't just eaten something excessively fatty. I would test because pancreatitis can be life threatening. Ellie has had it and it is not fun. If that is the case, food would need to be pulled and your dog might need an IV.

ours are high.
amylase: 1346 and lipase 1236.
