If you saw Oprah's show, the rescuer said that the Amish thought of dogs as livestock and were shocked to hear that the rescuer allowed his dog to be in the house, walking on his carpet!! They have a totally different mindset about these animals. I don't care if it is a dog, or a goat, or chicken or a rat, they should be treated humanely and the US Government needs to step in and close these places down and make it a crime to keep any animals in this condition. |
