Hi, welcome to YT!!

I have heard about the problem; fortunately, my boy Kimchee does not have that problem.

I understand that the incision is bigger and the operation is more complicated. I remember after Kimchee has neutured, it took him no time to recover. He acted like as if nothing had happened. As for your baby, since the incision is bigger, I would imagine it will take a bit longer time to heal. I think in no time he will want to jump and run around again. Just confine him in a smaller place, limit jumping and running around.

I know that your baby is using a e-collar, but if your baby doesn't feel comfortable with it, try the onesie. It works like a wonder for my puppy girl, Mochi, after she got spayed.

I hope your baby will recover soon.
