I'm looking to get a yorkie this summer, preferably on the smaller end and female. I'd like to pay less than $1000, but it seems like all the yorkies here are around $2000! I live in Santa Cruz and go to UC Davis (Sacramento area), but I am often in the San Francisco area. Does anyone know any breeders in those areas that have pups in my price range?

I know I'm asking for yorkie for a low price, but they're so adorable! My family would love him/her. My mom looooves small dogs and my grandpa, who is usually bed/couch-ridden cheers right up whenever my aunt brings her pugs to the house. And the fact that they don't shed is a plus because my grandpa is prone to allergies.
