But it sounds like you're doing an awesome job on potty training!  That sounds very similar to how I've housetrained mine. I'm assuming that she's a puppy, so do be patient. My philosophy is to make it nearly impossible for them to make a mistake - sounds like you're doing a pretty good job of that. The other thing that I do is give GREAT treats for pottying. Better than sit/stay treats during housetraining, since that's the premium "trick" I want them to learn.  |
I am really trying to make it impossible. Will it eventually work? Or do Yorkies always just go when and where they please? I am thinking of getting a bell and hanging it by the door. What do you all think of that idea? What command should I use if I have a bell?
