What's done is done...but next time do not leave them for any reason if no one is there, all night and checking on your dog...and if the dog is very ill, move it to a 24 hr ER to have supervision all night.

I did have a girl with a serious throat infection (had a trach tube)....she had to stay for 4 nights...I paid a tech to stay with her...
