implantable contact lenses I found out yesterday I'm not a candidate for lasik. My cornea's are too thin. Needless to say, I'm incredibly disappointed. I've worn glasses since I was 10, so 17 years and I can't see well at all without them.
My doctor told me I would be a good candidate for implantable contact lenses. They pretty much put a special contact lens inside your eye that corrects your vision. It can be removed by a doctor if there's an issue or if your prescription changes.
I'm just curious if anyone here has had it done, or if anyone knows anyone that's had it done? And any comments? etc? I'm going to look into it as an option but it sounds pretty freaky to me. |
