I just get the shots here every three years. I do not get the booster every year, when I get the rabies, (here is AZ it is three years after the first yearly) that is when we do the series. Granted my animals do not go out of the yard much. We have 2.5 acres for them to run and play on..we don't do dog parks, because we feel that they are to dangerous. Hence...the 2.5 fenced acres here.

ETA:: Age is also a factor in the shots. I have and old girl: she will be 9 this year and we figure that at her age, no matter how long she lives, after this next series, she will be done getting shots.
