Methoprene and Program make it impossible for fleas to reproduce. I was thinking that Program had no side effects (except nausea and depression...) but I didn't realize that Methoprene doesn't really either. I did read somewhere that it does but the stuff is even added to our food supply.
You could probably use either, but I am going to read up on what one is safer.
