When I got my Pixie from the breeder, she was 13 months old and spayed by the breeder, When I got Dixie from the same breeder she was 6 months and sold with the understanding I would spay her, same with Roxie, same breeder. The breeder knew I would spay them so I did not sign anything. When I got Cali, different breeder, there was no agreement, even though I would never breed. In my opinion reputable breeders require you s/n pet quality dogs. If the breeder does spay them I consider it a bonus as I don't have to go throught the worry that goes along with having it done. |
