 Carrier for Yorkie
I have a nice carrier that zips up that I bought at PetSmart which is airline approved. It has mesh ends so the dog gets air and can see out. I think I paid about $39 for it. I only use that if I'm staying overnight and need to crate my dog.
My Yorkie likes to go flea market shopping and to other shops that don't sell food and I carry her on the front of me in a carrier much like a baby carrier. Her hind legs hang down, her front legs hang over the top of the carrier and her upper chest and head are free. There is a slot for her tail so she isn't sitting on it. She faces forward and hangs there just like a baby and loves it. It cost me about $15. If interested I can give you the phone and e-mail of the person who sells these carriers. You wouldn't want to put more than a 6 lb. dog in it as it would get heavy on your shoulders. |
