I just recently cut Mojo's (before his bath) and I think he turned out good. I just cut his legs w/ the scissors and they did not turn out too chompy. I also do the "hairdresser" hold/cut...holding some between my fingers and then cutting at an angle. I also use scissors on his belly too....I just pull the hair up and cut pretty close to the skin...course, Mojo loves to be on his back and for me to be messing w/ him....and he does not care for the clippers...so this works well for us!
