I can relate. My Mickey (sheltie) passed over the rainbow bridge last July. And I still miss him like crazy, even cry when people talk about him. But recently, almost a year later Deegan came to me. I love him so much too, but he doesn't replace Mickey at all. I love them separetely. I does take a long time to heal, but eventually it won't hurt so much... I hope.
