Hey everyone,

I know this thread should go in the health section, but I really needed some help.

Tobi had diarrhia (the worst I've seen him have) and was vomiting this morning (white foam) so I got scared and took him to the vet. The vet said that it might be pancreatis, but he wasn't sure unless he ran some tests. He was suggesting doing x-rays and bloodwork which would total well over $500 CAD. I wasn't sure if those prices were normal, since this particular vet tried to gouge me before with a $1200 quote for taking 4 teeth out and neutering Tobi.

SO, is it normal to pay $500 for blood work and x-ray's to be completed? I've already booked another appointment with the SPCA this Wednesday to do a comparison.
