A bit later I heard a whimpering and low and behold this pup was alive. I took him to the vet for help and he suggested to put him down I said OH NO you don't understand this pup wants to live. I would not hear of him being put to death! He wanted to live and I felt horrible because I had dozed off and he went thru this. Anyways he had one hind leg a bit shorter and not much of toes. He is now approaching 7 years and is the life of a lil older lady in a high rise his name is Riley as in Life of Riley.
So I understand all to well about the well lets put it down.
But when vets see we are educated on the fact that they can be helped they are more willing to help. Deana
