It is illegal in the US and this is why they are so secretive about who they sell to. It's just like counterfeit handbags - it's illegal to sell them too yet go to ioffer.com and they are being sold all over the site. There are websites that sell knock off hand bags and knock off watches too, and advertise as such but there you too have to log in and it's all sold very private. I'm sure most of us have bought knock off bags before. Ever notice how they are shipped to you? Very private, in plain paper and usually marked gift. Most come from China and they cannot combine shipping because if they mass ship it sends up a red flag and they get caught and you as the buyer get caught too as it's illegal not only to sell but also to buy. Think of Cuban Cigars? How many people smoke them yet it was illegal to buy them for a long time. I still think it is - not sure though as I don't smoke but one thing I am sure of is that ANYTHING is available via the black market. Cigars, handbags whatever but dog and cat meat make me sick
