It is funny how all females are different. Some of mine will just lay there and let me do all the work, especially the first time moms. The more experienced moms would just rather do it themselves but it makes me too nervous to let them. I have never tried the clamp method mainly because the mom is always so anxious to see her baby so we just tie it off and then let mom take over right away. What kind of clamp do you use and do you leave the puppy away from the mother while it is clamped?
